What makes us different?

Our company is a specialized division of the private practice development brainchild of Dr. Kourtney Sims M.D., N.C.M.P., F.A.C.O.G, owner of Crossroads ObGyn and Wellness, P.A.  She personally manages the account of each and every client.  There are many talented consultants however the unique perspective of a practicing physician offers a distinct advantage. 

Dr. Sims realized after being in private practice for 10 years and talking to many of her colleagues how although doctors and NP's are trained to treat patients and have licenses to prescribe dangerous and addictive drugs typically most operate completely in the dark about how practices are actually set up and run.  This lack of knowledge can be severely limiting and costly to the provider who at some point in their career wants to stretch their wings, give it a go on their own and start something new.  Despite the massive pressures of group consolidation the reality is that a large majority of physicians still practice in a small practice environment.  The growing rate of burnout and changing generational priorities of younger physicians will likely not change these statistics because at some point after training for many, many years many providers yearn to be their own boss.  But because of our lack of knowledge surrounding many of the logistics of practice management often we end up making costly mistakes that could have been avoid with just some sage advice.  With that in mind she decided to take bring all the knowledge and resources that she has accumulated over a decade in private practice to the consulting world.  It is her goal to help assist 1,000 providers achieve their goals in establishing the practice (or non-clinical career) of their dreams!
